Sabic launch new transparent conductive polycarbonate film

Sabic cooperation with Singapore Cima NanoTech has developed a transparent conductive polycarbonate film. The two companies said the move first open industry pioneer.

Cima NanoTech company executives Jon Brodd said the study combines Sabics Lexan polycarbonate film and Cima NanoTechs Sante nanoparticle technology brings excellent transparency, with excellent electrical conductivity and highly flexible conductive material.
He said that in addition to achieve optical grade specifications display and touch screen applications outside, Sante nanoparticle technology is also more cost-effective because of its coated film and roll through the wet process, instead of a single type processes.
