Adsale Plastics Statistical Report August 11:

July 2014, China imported 2.18 million tons of plastic in primary forms, growth of 6.86%. Imports amounted to $ 4.5 billion, growth of 6.89%.
January to July, China imported 14.95 million tons of plastic in primary forms, an increase of 9.3%. Imports amounted to $ 30.465 billion, an increase of 12.0%.

July 2014 Chinas exports of plastic products 870,000 tons, growth of 8.75%. Exports amounted to $ 2.06 billion, growth of 15.08%.
January to July Chinas exports of plastic products 5.38 million tons, an increase of 6.6%. Exports amounted to $ 12.64 billion, an increase of 5.8%.

July 2014 Chinas imports of natural and synthetic rubber (including latex) 280,000 tons, unchanged. Imports amounted to $ 601 million, a slight increase of 0.55% MoM.
January to July, China imported 2.45 million tons of natural and synthetic rubber, an increase of 11.3%. Imports amounted to $ 4.643 billion, down 10.9%.
