According to the American Association of Plastics Industry (SPI) Mechanical Statistical Commission, the latest statistics, in 2014, three quarters of US exports of major plastics processing equipment - injection molding machines, blow molding machines and extruders - in dollar terms rose by 6%. The total value of exports in the third quarter was $ 301.4 million devices, compared to the second quarter rose 6 percent, but the strong performance in the third quarter compared to last year is still down 2%.
Statistics show that the United States injection molding machine, twin-screw extruders and blow molding machines are the first nine months of the export prices, but the export volume over the same period declined single screw extruder. In addition, the third quarter of this year, a record high orders of auxiliary equipment.
The first three quarters of the value of US exports of injection molding machines up 4%. In the third quarter, the value of exports fell 4 percent of injection molding machines.
The first three quarters of single-screw extruder export value fell by 6%, the value of exports in the third quarter fell 14%.
The first three quarters of the value of the twin-screw extruder outlet rose 35 percent, the value of exports rose 33 percent in the third quarter. The outlet comprises a twin-screw extruder with the extruder and different to the extruder.
Blow molding machines up about three quarters of export value rose 25 percent, the value of exports in the third quarter rose 27% year on year around.
Auxiliary equipment sales performance is also very strong. The first three quarters of the value of orders rose 12 percent. Third-quarter orders worth $ 108.2 million, breaking the record of the data compared with the third quarter of last year rose 8%.
In the third quarter of the investigation report, SPI interviewed some machinery suppliers. They said, automotive and medical plastic products and equipment will continue to be a strong market demand. Compared to the second quarter, their packaging, household appliances and construction industry demand is expected to have increased.
Plastic economist Bill Wood said the United States rose in line with the two plastic device data government report on industrial machinery and activity levels. The third quarter of this year, US industrial machinery business investment rose 16 percent year on year, from January to September rose 13%. New orders for the third quarter of the total value of industrial machinery rose 47% from January to September a total value of industrial machinery orders rose 34 percent.
Wood believes that the entire 2014 US market environment continues to drive investment in new industrial equipment on this market environment in 2015 will remain, including: loans and low interest rates in order to meet the total demand, the need to increase productivity. From a global perspective, North America within the next few months will be the most active in overall economic activity of the regional market, in addition to China and India, most of the other major areas of economic activity would seem depressed or even negative growth. Wood believes the strong domestic demand in the United States will help to maintain the good momentum of the global economy in 2015.
